Known for promoting tourism in Pinellas
County, Janet Henderson is the owner and
president of the Caladesi Island Connection,
the ferry that travels between Honeymoon and
Caladesi islands. She holds a degree in business
administration and has been a commercial and
residential real estate agent. She is well known for
her two terms as a commissioner for the City of
Dunedin, when she served on the Pinellas Planning
Council, the national League of Cities leadership
training council and the Florida League of Cities
international relations committee. She was also
honorary chair of the Business Advisory Council
in Washington, D.C.
Janet is active in a large number of local charities
and is listed in several editions of Who’s Who. She
was also chosen for the Dunedin Chamber of
Commerce’s “Delightful Dunedin” award in 2007.
